Villa Villani

About

Welcome to Villa Villani.

The car park is always full.

The queue at the front door grows longer by the minute.

The cocktails arrive before you’ve ordered them.

The meal you receive probably isn’t the one you asked for.

And somehow...

...it will be the best lunch you’ve had in years.

Meet Don Angelo, the retired Italian patriarch who can solve almost any problem over an espresso; Dianne, the legendary organiser who quietly runs the entire operation; Michele, the chef who firmly believes customers never really know what they want to eat; Christiano, the cocktail maestro convinced Tom Cruise merely borrowed his act; Guglielmo, who can seat eight people at a table for six without anybody complaining; Carlina, who knows you’ve enjoyed your meal because she’s been watching; and the rest of the wonderfully eccentric Villani family, each adding another ingredient to what has become far more than a hotel and bistro.

Part tall tale.

Part family legend.

Part love letter to Italian hospitality.

Villa Villani is filled with larger-than-life characters, outrageous situations, unforgettable meals and the sort of warmth that can only come from a family who genuinely believes every guest should leave as a friend.

Or perhaps...

...as part of the family.

Not actually a true story.

Well... near enough.
